Notes from the State Master Councilor

My name is Francis Paul Conrad III. I am 18 years old and a graduate from Station Camp High School in Gallatin, Tennessee. I have been an active member of C.E. Hendricks Chapter for more than 6 years now, serving many positions such as Chaplain, Scribe, and even Master Councilor.

I have many hobbies including singing, bowling, and instrumental music, playing baritone and trombone. I start my first semester of college at Volunteer State Community College where I will be majoring in music education. Once I am finished I intend on transferring to UT Martin to further my career in music and even begin classes in religion.

In the past couple of years I have served as Tennessee 's State Senior Councilor ('05-'06) and Deputy State Master Councilor ('06-'07). During the year 2007 I have received my Entered Apprentice and Fellow Craft Degrees in Freemasonry and will soon be a Master Mason at the Hendersonville Masonic Lodge.

This year my term as State Master Councilor is “Sailing the Seven Seas: Searching for the Treasure of Life.” We will be doing many things this year including a trip to New Orleans and our fundraiser toward the Grand Lodge entitled “Building for Our Future.” Join us on our journey across the Seven Symbolic Seas of DeMolay as we discover the treasure of life…Brotherhood.
