Our first state event this term will be white water rafting August 6 on the Hiwassee River.  Exact meeting time and place to be determined.

It is $20 per person for rafting.  Rafts can hold 4-6.
Single inflatable kayaks are available for $30.  Payments will be made upon arrival that day. 

It is up to your chapter or the individual to decide if you want to make it a day trip or stay in a campsite or a hotel. If you'd like to stay in a campsite you can visit hiwasseeoutfitters.com.  If you want to stay in a hotel you are on your own.

You will have to provide your own lunch for a day trip and all other meals if you stay over night.  Some recommendations are MRE's, backpacking meals, sandwiches, or just something easy.

Reservations need to be made no later than July 30.

Chapter Dad's need to email the SMC how many they will have coming.
